The Elph' has a long and illustrious history that goes back over 400 years. The owners, Robert and Janette Allen, along with their son, Michael, have been at the heart of the business for over twenty five years and offer a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors and locals alike. The family pride themselves on the continued patronage of a busy local trade with a high level of repeat custom which clearly tells its own story.
We have eleven bedrooms, three family rooms (two with king size beds and bunk beds, and one with a king size bed and a single bed, a Z bed can be added to take occupancy up to four) four double rooms, three twin rooms and a single room.
Five of the bedrooms are in a new extension which was completed in 2009 and whilst the rest of the bedrooms are in the original building, parts of which date back hundreds of years.
No two bedrooms are alike but they are all decorated and fitted to a high standard.
All rooms have flat screen digital TV’s, free WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities as well as access to hair dryer and ironing facilities.
All rooms are en-suite.
