Description
It’s all things great and small at Lee Wick Cottages and Glamping in the north Essex countryside – the site itself is petite yet pretty, perfect for families and couples and comes with 2 cottages (rated 4 stars by Visit England), 3 glamping MegaPods for Mega glampers and 1 CargoPod all with their own loo, shower and sea views!

Stable cottage was suitably converted from an old stable block on the farm, it is all on one level and has lovely views of the surrounding paddocks with horses grazing and the estuary. It has two bedrooms, sleeping 5 people in total, and a double sofabed which can accommodate a further 2 people.

It has been rated 4 stars by Visit England and has an M2 mobility rating, (typically suitable for a person with restricted walking ability and for those that may need to use a wheelchair some of the time).

On entering the cottage you will find an open plan kitchen, dining and seating area (with sofa bed) which has a log burner to keep the cottage cosy in the cooler days of autumn and winter. Patio doors lead to the garden with views over the ménage and paddocks to the sea. The garden has tables, chairs and a BBQ to enjoy those summer days.

Following the sloping hall-way to the other end of the cottage, a peaceful twin bedroom with en-suite shower room can be found and a larger family bedroom also with en-suite shower room, is situated at the very end of the building. In total there are five bed spaces with an additional double sofa bed in the living area.

There is a lovely sunny feel to Stable Cottage and it is perfect for the smaller family group, or couples that want a peaceful base close to the Suffolk border with all that the area offers. Unfortunately we cannot accept bookings from anyone under the age of 25.

Having just spent a week staying at stable cottage, we would like to say Thank you! It is so comfortable, with every amenity one can think of. The hot tub was great fun, we had never been in a wood fired one, very interesting and the wood is beautiful. Cottage has good accessibility in terms of wheelchair. Big bathroom with large space. The wifi was excellent. Food was delicious. We definitely would recommend a stay at the stable!
