Set in unspoilt & tranquil countryside between the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole and the artists paradise of Lamorna Cove – but only just down the road from Penzance.
Castallack is off the beaten track yet easily accessible and ideally situated for exploring South West Cornwall, including: Penzance, St Ives and the ‘Lands End Peninsula’.

Double Room
A comfortable and cosy en suite double room, very comfortable King size [ 5' ] bed with hand-made mattress, on the ground floor overlooking the pond in our attractive central courtyard. A fridge in the adjacent hallway is for guests to use and contains jugs of fresh milk for in-room beverages. This room would suit guests with hampered mobility as there are just two internal steps to reach them and no steps within the room.
Twin Room
A comfortable and cosy en suite twin room on the ground floor overlooking the pond in our attractive central courtyard. A fridge in the adjacent hallway is for guests to use and contains jugs of fresh milk for in-room beverages. This room would suit guests with hampered mobility as there are just two internal steps to reach them and no steps within the room.
They welcome one well behaved dog by arrangement.
Castallack, a tiny hamlet, is secluded yet easily accessible, four miles from Newlyn one of the busiest fishing ports in England & five miles from the cosmopolitan market town of Penzance. Stroll to Lamorna Cove & enjoy a cream tea overlooking the small beach & ocean or walk in the opposite direction to Mousehole a quaint seaside village with a very safe harbour beach.
Take a catamaran out into Mounts Bay with Marine Discovery & search for Dolphins, Whales & Sea birds- it's a great way to see the coastline with a good chance of bird & marine sightings. There is so much to see & do in the far west of Cornwall. Beaches, coves, harbours, moorland, & some of the loveliest gardens in the country. Plus, to many, the jewels in the crown the magnificent South West Coastal Path & the iconic St Michael’s Mount National cycle route 3 passes by our front gate & a bridleway runs through our land.
There are some very good restaurants in Penzance & St Ives as well as cafe’s & coffee shops galore. Then there are the galleries where artists who have come here because of our clear & vibrant light showcase their works of art together with potters & sculptors.
