99 Gordon St, Glasgow G1 3SF, UK

Directly adjoining Central Station, The Principal Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow was originally built in the late 19th-century as a great British railway hotel. One of the city's most prestigious buildings, the hotel has welcomed many famous guests including Frank Sinatra and Winston Churchill, throughout the years.

Today, this iconic hotel is still a very much loved landmark in Glasgow's skyline, sat within the hub of the Style Mile and at the centre of the city's many attractions.

At our restaurant, Tempus Restaurant & Bar, discover seasonal locally sourced food and drink that showcases the very best of Scottish cuisine and culture. Our Recently refurbished bar, Champagne Central, overlooks Central Station and evokes the golden age of travel, while Deli Central offers quick food on the go with a special focus on local favourites.

Perfectly suited for meetings, conferences, events and weddings, The Principal Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow is home to 21 flexible event spaces, each with its own style that complements the original character of the building. Following a recent £250k refurbishment, the hotels largest space, The Grand Room at the hotel has undergone a full decoration. With capacity for up to 400 people, it is one of the grandest event spaces in the city.

Very good hotel beautifully maintained with excellent facilities for wheelchair users. Food brilliant, will definitely be back. Accessibility from the station and location for shopping just fantastic. Reception staff were brilliant at explaining the exact details of the accessible room. The accessible room was very well thought out and adapted. When I got stuck on the loo which can happen because of my condition the staff were very helpful indeed, helping me to my feet with the minimum embarrassment.
