Opened in 1870, this Downtown landmark with an elegant portico is 2 blocks from the Old State House and a 15-minute walk from both Riverfront Park and the Clinton Presidential Center.

Superior Rooms

Our best value offering all of the comforts and amenities of our larger rooms in a slightly smaller size. These rooms are the equivalent of cozy residential guest rooms and are available in queen, king and double-double bedded arrangements as well as accessible doubles and kings.

Accessible Rooms

Accessible accommodations primarily involve adjustments to the height of light switches and closet bars and wider doorways. Room 451 include(s) a roll-in shower that should be specified when placing a reservation.

Deluxe King

Located on the historic front facade of the hotel overlooking President Clinton Avenue, these are some of the most popular rooms with our repeat guests. They are more spacious than our Superior category offering 200 hundred additional square feet and also floor to ceiling windows.

Capital King

Capital Kings are generously sized, a sofa seating area, coffee table and chairs. These are very similar to our Junior Suites but with a smaller bathroom.

Grand Capital Suite

Our Grand Capital Suites were cleverly designed by interior specialist David Kleinberg. Decidedly residential, these suites are attractive for a romantic weekend, private group meeting or a bridesmaid’s gathering. A full dining room table is as equally inviting for a private dinner as for an intimate planning session. A powder room in the foyer allows the bedroom to remain private.
