Rylstone Manor Hotel is located in the beautiful village of Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. The hotel has a quality mark of a 3 star Hotel with a silver award. It’s the only hotel to have a VisitEngland Rose award on the Island and there are only six other hotels in England to receive it. Rylstone Manor Hotel is an historic building and was originally built as a gentleman's residence in 1863 and remained a private residence until 1923. The hotel is of Victorian proportion and incorporates a blend of Gothic, Tudor and Georgian influences which reflects its unique charms both externally and within the hotel.
The hotel provides a warm and intimate atmosphere where you can relax within the exquisitely decorated interior and enjoy its unique surroundings at Rylstone gardens.
Rylstone Manor Hotel is nestled within Rylstone gardens which are located on the cliff top overlooking the Shanklin and Sandown bay area where you can take a short walk to the beach front, Shanklin Chine and the pretty Old Village with its thatched shops, pubs, restaurants and cottages.
Within a fifteen-minute walk from the hotel you can reach Shanklin main town that offers a good mix of shops and services. Buses to all parts of the Island can be caught from the centre of the town, and a train service is also offered to Lake, Sandown, Brading and Ryde.
The classically decorated, themed rooms offer en suite bathrooms, flat-screen TVs and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Kids 16 and over are welcome.
There is private parking at the hotel for residents and it’s a great base for those wishing to explore the Island by car.

Read All ReviewsQuiet and relaxing hotel in the center of town. The disabled bed was comfortable and very spacious. Easy and adequate parking, even though I am disabled it’s easy to get around the hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.
