Trefacwn is a magical four-acre estate situated on the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park overlooking the Celtic sea. The land has an ancient healing energy that is palpable for all who come. The Grade II listed Georgian Mansion is set in a stunning location, with panoramic views over countryside and sea from Strumble Head.

Trefacwn has two self catering cottages available with sea views, and two converted barns to choose from. Ideal for your Pembrokeshire holiday and close to St Davids, Haverfordwest and North Pembrokeshire. Ty Charlie

 

  • The annexe cottage is attached to the manor house and has a private entrance that is accessed from the car park. The car park area has ample parking available and a slate entryway leading to the cottage. Luggage can be unloaded outside the cottage within 6 meters of the door.

  • Front doorway 780mm wide with 160mm deep step into the open plan dining/kitchen/sitting room.

  • Sitting area with two 2-seater sofas.

  • Remote control TV with DVD.

  • Kitchen worktop height 930mm. Drop down oven door and front loading washing machine.

  • Ground floor bathroom with walk in shower. Entry door 740mm wide, shower door 660mm wide. Toilet height 430mm.

  • Backdoor into courtyard 770mm wide.

  • Two bedrooms via single flight of stairs with 11 steps, 210mm deep and banister on left.

  • Heating is via wood burner that heats two radiators upstairs. There are also three storage heaters for milder weather.

Ty Sara Cottage

 

  • The cottage is attached to the manor house annexe cottage and can be accessed from the car park through a 16 meter walkway that is gently sloped at the entry or via 3 130mm steps, both of which lead to the front courtyard and door of the cottage. The surface is gravelled.

  • The front door is 1410mm when fully opened or 710 mm when single door utilized.

  • Open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room.

  • The sitting room has a wood burning stove with a front hinged door.

  • Remote control TV (teletext) with DVD. CD stereo system.

  • The back door 1120mm wide leads onto a garden courtyard.

  • Two bedrooms and a bathroom are located up a single flight of wooden stairs (10 steps 230mm high) that has a right side banister.

  • The master bedroom doorway is 780mm wide and has a king size bed. The 2nd bedroom has a 730mm wide doorway and two single beds.

  • The bathroom doorway is 750mm wide. There is a shower with a 560mm door which has a 150mm step. Toilet ht 410mm and sink at 800mm.

  • Laundry facilities are available in a purpose created building approximately 30 meters from the back door of Sarah’s cottage. Entrance doorway is 800mm wide.

Ty Dewi

 

Ty Dewi self catering cottage is a stone barn that has been renovated using earth friendly materials to a very high standard, creating a characterful and elegant atmosphere. The barn has under-floor heating throughout.

It is adjacent to the historic Trefacwn Mansion and enjoys the benefits of a small shared lawn to the front and surrounding woodland and grounds.

It features delightful views over the hills to the sea and has a cottage style frontage and ample parking.

It has one double bedroom (king size bed), with an alcove that can accommodate a single bed for a young child. Additional bed space for up to four can be created in the expansive open planned lounge, with wooden screens to separate bed space from living area.

The ground floor consists of a double bedroom, kitchen/dining area and bathroom.

The kitchen/diner has a fitted “Shaker” style kitchen with hand crafted oak cabinets, a double oven & hob, work surfaces, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, and ample storage. The dining area has seating capacity for eight.

The bathroom has a stone floor with under-floor heating (as in all other rooms), and incorporates a double basin, two showers and two toilets.

A hand crafted oak staircase leads to the first floor, where there is a large spacious sitting room. This space can be utilised, via a wooden screen, to include up to four additional beds.

There is a door opening onto south-facing decking which is shared by the residents of the attached St Nons barn.

There are laundry facilities situated in an adjacent outhouse. The outhouse also contains an additional shower and toilet, with additional capacity to house bicycles or outdoor pursuit equipment.

There is a colour TV and DVD player and broadband internet is available at no extra charge if you have a laptop.

  • We provide all duvets, pillows, bed linen, bath and hand towels but people are asked to bring their own beach towels.

  • A vacuum cleaner and cleaning materials are also provided.

  • The heating and hot water supply for Ty Dewi are served by our own pellet burning boiler using sustainable waste product.

St Nons

 

St Nons self catering cottage is a stone barn that has been renovated using earth friendly materials to a very high standard, creating a characterful and elegant atmosphere. The barn has under-floor heating throughout.

It is adjacent to the historic Trefacwn Mansion and enjoys the benefits of a small shared lawn to the front and surrounding woodland and grounds.
