The Royal Esplanade Hotel is a beautiful Victorian Grade II listed building that has been lovingly and sympathetically restored by its current owners, Planning Solutions Limited. The hotel has seventy bedrooms and is perfectly situated on the Esplanade, facing the Solent, in the centre of the attractive Victorian sea-side town of Ryde.
The Royal Esplanade offers a range of Superior, Premier and Classic rooms from as little as £59 for two persons on a bed & breakfast basis for an overnight stay, plus a range of short break options, on a bed and breakfast basis or half board, including car ferry at very competitive rates.
There's an informal restaurant, plus an airy lounge, and a wood-panelled bar with a fireplace, as well as a pool table.

Read All ReviewsThe room was clean and comfortable with clean towels. Staff and management went out of their way to help. Due to stairs leading to the hotel and no ramp access this is not suitable for wheel chair access. Due to mobility problem it would have been a problem as unable to use wheel chair in bedroom or bathroom. There is a parking issue as the car should be park over the road.
