Welcome to Rossroe Lodge, home of great hospitality and food experience. We are a family run B&B. Our home is both traditionnal and modern at the same time and is set in a remote, peaceful and scenic location with fantastic views of Cashel Bay, in the heart of Connemara, between sea, mountains and bogs.

We have 4 en-suite bedrooms (3 double and 1 Family) individually decorated which offer the highest standard of comfort. You can also relax in the private lounge with real turf fire, as well as TV and DVD player. Or why not enjoy a peaceful afternoon on the decking overlooking the bay until the sun sets.

Breakfast is wholesome and tasty, and dinner is a culinary experience not to be missed (24 hour booking required), with all tastes and diets catered for (see our "Food" page).  The well-being of our guests is always our priority. We are approved by Failte Ireland (4* Irish Home).

Thanks to our comprehensive knowledge of the area, we will be delighted to help you discover the breathtaking beauty of Connemara, whether you want to visit all the local attractions or simply stay "off the beaten track". We have a shed for storage of bicycles or outdoor gear as well as drying facilities.

In our house, we have 4 bedrooms for guest use, 3 on ground floor, and 1 on the first floor. 3 of them are double rooms and 1 is a family room (1 double bed + 1 single bed + a sofa bed), with possibility to add an extra bed( contact us for details). A cot is also available on request.

All 4 bedrooms are individually decorated and furnished, and are equipped to the highest standards: underfloor heating with individual control, orthopedic mattresses ensuring you a restful sleep, flat screen TV, tea and coffee facilities, hair-dryer.

They each have a private en-suite bathroom with a large shower, pressurised water system and complimentary toiletries to help you freshen up after your day travelling or touring the area.

There is a private lounge for guest use. You will relax on the leather sofa and armchairs by the turf fire, preparing the next day thanks to our books and brochures (and our advice), or watching TV or a DVD. Or if you prefer, why not have a lazy afternoon or evening on the decking, admiring the true beauty of unspoilt Connemara while having a cup of freshly brewed tea or coffee.

Breakfast and dinner are served in the dining room, with free sunrise for early birds!

Ensuite Room Rates

Ensuite room rates vary from €35 per person sharing in low season to €50 per person sharing in high season. Single Ensuite room rates vary from €40 in low season to €60 in high season, including our lovely breakfast, of course.
