Although Boswinger is now connected with free WIFI in communal areas, the hostel still retains its particular charm as one of the most remote hostels in Cornwall: a perfect place to retreat to and surrender to the outdoors.
With miles of beautiful coastline and tucked away beaches on the doorstep, this hostel provides an ideal base for walkers, nature-lovers, paddle-boarders, kayakers, sunbathers and cyclists.
If you’re planning a visit to the famous Lost Gardens of Heligan, or would like to admire the floral delights of Caerhays Castle – famed for camelias, magnolias and rhododendrons, then Boswinger is the place to be – these attractions are just minutes away. For those hoping to explore the un-spoilt treasures of the Roseland Peninsula, our staff will help you build the perfect itinerary, cherry picking the most atmospheric spots.
The opportunities are endless, from the hypnotic fishing-village sleepiness of Portloe, to the fairytale enchanted-ness of Veryan, with its idyllic thatched roundhouses and classic country pub. Travelling just a little further down the road you will emerge in the famous sailing town of St Mawes, - a perfect jumping off point for a day trip to hip and funky Falmouth.
FREE WI-FI available in communal areas for guests!
The Youth Hostel is an old farmhouse with 40 beds and comprises of 10 bedrooms ranging from two beds to six beds. We have no en-suite rooms or double rooms.
