The Hallmark Hotel Liverpool South (formerly known as the Best Western Alicia Hotel) is in a great location. We’re kissing the fringe of the 200 leafy acres of Sefton Park and set firmly in a Grade 1 heritage listed oasis of tranquillity with a boating lake, classical statues and wonderfully restored Palm House. Yet, we’re also a stone’s throw from the buzzing restaurants, culture and nightlife of central Liverpool, one of the UK’s most thrilling cities to visit.
We’ve a wonderful location, stunning architecture fusing the best of old and new, and a clutch of awards for everything from our food to our green credentials and our leading role in regional hospitality. But the foundation of our business at Hallmark Hotel Liverpool South is to provide a deep, dreamy, comfortable and stylish night’s sleep. We take it very seriously, and, from guests’ feedback, we do it very well.

Our 41 individually designed rooms, from superbly equipped classics to suites, all reflect cool contemporary style with neutrals and earth tones, blended with rich ochre and gold and deep red, and warm contemporary lighting. Many have our generous Edwardian windows and proportions, and four-poster beds draped in delicate fabrics, but all without fail, contain wonderfully comfortable mattresses, crisp white linen and plump pillows. Naturally, they also possess those modern essentials: fast free WiFi, flat screen multiple channel TVs and high quality toiletries, along with 24-hour room service. Sweet dreams!

Read All ReviewsThere is no disabled parking space, however if you’re disabled, you have a space reserved right next to the front door!! In Hotel there are many steps and stairs unnecessarily which make difficult for the disabled user. we were in a twin room and the beds were so narrow I nearly fell out, breakfast was fine but the service was lacking. No accessible rooms only you will get is accessible toilets. Avoid this hotel if you are disabled and searching disabled friendly hotel.
