Coombe Farm is a perfect holiday choice. From the two double rooms you can watch the fishing boats returning to the ancient town of Fowey. Its idyllic location enables you a choice of activities from secluded beaches, fishing and sailing, to the beautiful tree-lined or coastal walks made famous by Daphne du Maurier.
It is centrally situated to tour any part of Cornwall within a day and is ideal for visiting the famous Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Lanhydrock House and Gardens — Each within a 15 minute drive.
For the more adventurous guests, a moonlight walk thought the historic Covington Woods past St. Catherine’s Castle is perfect end to the day when returning from one of Fowey’s multitude of character pubs or restaurants, serving locally caught fish and home made grown produce. Guests who like to keep fit are also catered for, with a morning dip in the sea just one hundred metres from the farm.
If you prefer a lazy day followed by a Cornish cream tea, Coombe Farm offers it all within the farmhouse’s walled gardens.
