Moorlands B&B Hotel is set in five acres of beautiful gardens and grounds within the Exmoor National Park, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside, offering visitors, seeking quality and comfortable accommodation, a warm and friendly welcome.
Five individually decorated bed and breakfast rooms and three, 1 and 2 bedroom suites (available as self-catering units or on B&B rates) all within our Victorian country home.
Available all year including Christmas and New Year, the accommodation is comfortable and quiet, with large double bedded rooms; one with a second double room suitable for use as a family suite. All rooms are en-suite with TV, beverage making facilities and complimentary WIFI.
All bed and breakfast rooms are inclusive of full English breakfast served in our dining room from 8am to 9am weekdays, weekends from 8am to 9:30am.

DOUBLE B&B BEDROOMS
All rooms have ensuites with either shower or bath, colour flat screen TVs with DVD player. All double ensuite rooms also have views over the grounds and are centrally heated. Please note that we do not allow dogs in the bed and breakfast rooms. Dogs are welcome when booking the Dean apartment.
FAMILY B&B SUITE
Situated on the ground floor, this B&B suite consists of two double-bedded rooms with an adjoining ensuite shower room. Very versatile accommodation sleeping from two to four persons
Self Catering Apartments
THE DEAN SUITE - Self Catering or B&B
Our Dean apartment is on the ground floor, approached through its own private courtyard garden. Comprises a double bedroom, kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower over, lounge with colour TV and large electric fire set in an inglenook fire place. Dogs are very welcome to share this apartment with their owners.
THE BODLEY SUITE - Self Catering or B&B
Our Bodley apartment is on the first floor has two bedrooms, a double bedroom and a bedroom with full size (adult specification) bunkbeds, a large lounge and dining room with colour TV and screened kitchen area, bathroom with power shower. Please note, pets cannot be accommodated in this property.
THE HEDDON SUITE - Self Catering or B&B
This large two-bedroom apartment features twin & double beds. There is a large lounge with TV and dining area and views of the Heddon Valley to the sea, a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with corner bath and separate power shower. Please note, pets cannot be accommodated in this property.

Read All ReviewsWe were here for a wedding of a family member. It is very well located with natural surrounding. The rooms were clean and well maintained, The beds were comfortable. The owners were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious the full English cooked to order with good quality ingredients. The only negative is that the car park is slightly elevated above the guest house there is a path down to the entrance which is poorly lit and, in the wet, very slippy, there are also no lights down the main drive to Moorlands, disabled person would have had some issues with accessibility and perhaps the owners should think about improving disabled access.
