Mullacott Farm has 30 acres set in the coastal preservation area of North Devon. We have spectacular views of both coast and countryside, as the fields enjoy sea views on three sides; overlooking Woolacombe and Lundy Island to the West, Lee Bay and Ilfracombe to the North, and the South Coast of Wales on a clear day.
Stay with us at Mullacott Farm for the views and so much more:

Swallow Barn
Mullacott Farm owners Alison and Adrian Homa, alongside Caroline and Bryan Channing look forward to welcoming you to Swallow Barn for a relaxing stay in the country.
Swallow Barn is nearly 100 years old, and it is set in the heart of the farm, as an annex to the farmhouse. It was converted during 2002 and finally finished in the November.
Many of the original features, including the old exposed beams, still remain and can clearly be seen, creating a house that gives a traditional feel to your Bed and Breakfast accommodation in North Devon.
All the bedrooms have a double and a single bed, and are en-suite, with a toilet, basin and shower. They are tastefully decorated, in a simple country cottage theme.
There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, with stable doors leading out onto the patio, where there is substantial wooden garden furniture, where you can enjoy an evening drink and while away the time.
Upstairs are a further four bedrooms, which have retained the original character of the building, with exposed beams. Two of these rooms have interconnecting doors if required, with the other two having a double and two single beds each. The upstairs rooms have their own patio to use.
All of the bedrooms are well appointed with colour television, clock radio, a tea and coffee hospitality tray, hairdryer, plenty of storage space, and a comfortable seating area, with chairs and table. There is a fridge with freezer compartment available for all of the guests to use.

Camping Barn
Our former stables are on a small working farm in a designated Coastal Preservation Area, and they provide great Hostel Accommodation.
All accommodation is on ground level and open plan, with raised sleeping areas. One for up to 8 people, plus small stalls each sleeping 2 or 4. Each platform has mattresses at no extra charge, but you must bring your sleeping bag or bedding as well as warm clothing. Total number is 20.
There are air curtain heaters throughout the Barn. Please bare in mind this is a wooden building and no other heating equipment should be used, unless it has been certified by an electrician.
There is a dining area and well-fitted kitchen area with electric full-size oven, hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, sinks with hot water from a water heater (all coin-operated) and basic cooking equipment and cutlery. A tumble dryer has also recently been added for your convenience.
We regret to say that candles are NOT allowed, as they are a fire risk. You may be asked to leave, without a refund, if you ignore this. A toilet block gender toilets and electric shower is a few steps away; as is a covered storage area for rucksacks, cycles, surfboards etc.
Car parking is available, and a picnic and BBQ area is adjacent. Plus, free range eggs and sausages are available from the farm.
This is an ideal facility for school groups, Scouts or Guides, Duke of Edinburgh Award participants, as well as College or University reunions and family holidays. Sorry no Stag or Hen nights.

Read All ReviewsWe were here for weekend and it was made more special by the standard of service and breakfast at Mullacott Farm. We had both ground floor rooms. The rooms were large and spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated in traditional cottage style and cleaned daily to a very high standard. All disablility requirements were met with a smile and nothing was too much trouble for us. Would recommend this accomodation to anyone who are disabled.
