Our guests here at the Watersmeet Hotel are always telling us how well they sleep when staying with us. We put this down to a combination of the fresh sea air, the very best pocket sprung beds, the thickest and most luxurious duvets (like sleeping under a gigantic marshmallow!), crisp white linen and superior memory foam pillows. The Watersmeet Hotel was designed to make the most of its beachside location. All but three of the hotel’s rooms offer spectacular sea views taking in Combesgate Beach, Lundy Island and Baggy Point. A number of our bedrooms have white, wooden balconies where you can sit and watch magnificent sunsets behind Woolacombe Bay.

Our Deluxe Rooms are much more spacious that our Classic Rooms. Many of them have large and comfortable seating areas too. This category includes a combination of double, twin and family rooms. Most of these rooms have views overlooking the lawn and Combesgate Beach, but a couple also have dramatic views towards Lundy Island.

Most of our Classic Rooms have spectacular views overlooking the lawn and Combesgate Beach. Rooms 1 and 2, though, have dramatic views of Lundy Island. Whilst smaller than the Deluxe Rooms they are all appointed to a high standard and are very comfortable.

SUN PIPE ROOMS
These rooms offer excellent value. Somewhat quirkily, they have a sun pipe rather than a window – so whilst they are very light and often filled with sunshine – they don’t have a view. However, our lounge, restaurant, terrace and garden offer such spectacular views that you’ll have ample opportunity to enjoy them. These rooms have been recently refurbished to a high standard and have lovely bathrooms as well.

DELUXE SUPER BAY ROOM & SUITE
Our Super Deluxe Bay room is located in the end ‘turret’ and, therefore, enjoys a large bay window – but not a balcony. From this room you get an excellent view of the lovely gardens with Combesgate Beach in the hinterground. This room has recently been refurbished and is very popular with wedding couples. Our suite is up on the third floor and is a bit like being up in the crow’s nest! It is a nice sized room and its sloping attic ceilings give it a cosy feel. It has narrow windows yet, due to its elevation, enjoys sweeping panoramic views of both Combesgate Beach and Lundy Island.
