Welcome to Glyn Y Coed, a luxury B&B in Criccieth on the coast of North Wales. Highly recommended on Tripadvisor, you’ll find everything you’d expect to make your stay first class. Our rooms are all individually decorated and elegantly designed, some with stunning sea views. We also provide a delicious and nutritious breakfast and a friendly service – luxury with a personal touch.

Each room has been uniquely styled, creating a sophisticated yet contemporary look with an individual finish. Rooms are fitted with king size or double beds providing the ultimate accommodation in comfort and relaxation.

Accommodation

Glyn y Coed is a large Victorian house with 10 en-suite bedrooms including superior sea /castle view rooms, and standard double & twin and a then a large family room.

Our double front-facing bedrooms have spectacular views overlooking the sea, castle and mountains – all with bath/shower ensuite.

Our standard rooms on the back have double or twin beds with bath/shower or shower.

We also have a ground floor annex with twin beds and large walk in shower, offering private access at the rear of the building.  This does not have disabled facilities so please enquire. Please note that WiFi does not currently work very well in this room however, it does work well in the guest lounge.  We are trying to improve this.

The large family room as a king sized bed, bunk beds and a lounge area with TV, DVDs and games – with bath/shower room.

Complimentary towels and toiletries are provided.

All rooms have television, wifi (free) and telephone as well as a hair dryer and tea making facilities.  Please note that we rarely have any problems with our internet connection but cannot guarantee the signal at all times.

One parking space per room.  Please call if you have specific requirements.

Where possible we try to remain flexible to accommodate any specific needs of any of our guests, so please let us know when you book.

Access Statement

The Glyn y Coed is a Victorian property.We have private parking at the side of the house on ground level.There are 3 steps (plus one very small step) into the front of the house.On the ground floor, we have the reception, guest lounge and breakfast room.

The bedrooms are situated on the first and second floor (except for our ground floor annex room).
There are 16 steps up to the 1st floor with and hand rail on both sides of the staircase.
There are 17 steps up to the 2nd floor with one hand rail.

All bedrooms either have a walk-in shower (with approx 5″ step into shower tray) or a bath with the shower in the bath.

One of our bedrooms is a separate annex at the rear of the hotel on ground level next to the car-park. There is a small ramp leading up into the room. The shower tray is approx 2″ high. Because this is a purpose built room with studded walls, we do not have grab rails/handles. Please bear in mind that the breakfast room is inside the hotel (4 steps).

Our driveway is on a slight slope. There is a parking space for each room.

We are within easy walking distance of the shops, cafes, restaurants and beach.
