Surf Haven is a stylish bed and breakfast in Bude exclusively for adults and older children. Located close to the heart of Bude, a short walk from glorious beaches, the golf course and the town’s shops and restaurants.

ROOMS

Our four, recently decorated bedrooms are all equipped with comfortable beds and ensuite bathrooms or shower rooms. Our Superior Rooms have views of Bude & North Cornwall Golf Course and Crooklets Beach, all rooms are exclusively for adults and children over 16 years of age.

SUPERIOR SUPER KING ROOM

This Superior Room has a large, comfortable Super King size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a spacious shower and twin hand basins. Located on the first floor, the room is bright and airy and looks out onto Bude and North Cornwall Golf Course and offers superb views down towards the sea and Crooklets Beach.

Our Superior Super King Room is equipped with a 32″ flat screen smart TV with an internet connection, allowing you to watch both terrestrial and internet channels. We offer free wifi throughout Surf Haven.  Also in the room is a minibar fridge which is stocked with complimentary water and milk and has plenty of space for your own essentials. 

SUPERIOR TWIN ROOM

Our Superior Twin Room has an ensuite bathroom with both a bath and a shower and is located on the first floor.  The light, spacious room faces out onto Bude and North Cornwall Golf Course and also in sight away to the west is Crooklets Beach and the sea.

Our Superior Twin Room is equipped with a 32″ flat screen smart TV with an internet connection, allowing you to watch both terrestrial and internet channels.  We offer free wifi throughout Surf Haven.  Also in the room is a minibar fridge which is stocked with complimentary water and milk and has plenty of space for your own essentials. 

STANDARD DOUBLE ROOM

Our Standard Double Room has a comfortable double bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and wash basin.  The bright, spacious room is located on the ground floor and is ideal for those looking for easy access to their room.

Our Standard Double Room is equipped with a 32″ flat screen TV showing the normal terrestrial channels and we offer free wifi throughout Surf Haven if you wish to view internet channels on your own devices.  Also in the room is a minibar fridge which is stocked with complimentary water and milk and has plenty of space for your own essentials.

STANDARD TWIN ROOM

Our Standard Twin Room has two comfortable single beds and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and wash basin. The bright, spacious room is located on the Mezzanine floor and has rooftop views.

Our Standard Twin Room Room is equipped with a 32″ flat screen TV showing the normal terrestrial channels and we offer free wifi throughout Surf Haven if you wish to view internet channels on your own devices.  Also in the room is a minibar fridge which is stocked with complimentary water and milk and has plenty of space for your own essentials.

EAT & DRINK WELL

Surf Haven’s famous breakfasts are included in the price of your room.  Made with locally sourced ingredients and cooked fresh each morning, they really are a great way to start the day. Then, when you return to Surf Haven at the end of the day, we are licensed to sell alcohol, so you can relax with a drink without venturing out again

ACCESS STATEMENT

Surf Haven is a 1920’s mid-Terrace house, modernised with guest bedrooms on the ground, mezzanine and first floors. The property has recently been refurbished to offer four attractive and bright rooms maintaining many original features such as dado rails and ceiling cornices. All rooms have en-suite showers, (with one superior room offering a bath and shower facility), TVs, Tea and coffee making facilities, silent bar fridges and clock radios. Surf Haven is situated in a terrace road easily accessible from the A39 Atlantic Highway.

There is an entrance gate at street level which opens onto a slope (3.38 metres long) for ease of wheeling luggage to the main entrance door. There are two patio seating areas for guests in the front area on the left and right of the main door. There is a small entrance lip (10cm) at the front door.

The entrance hallway is carpeted. Just beyond this is the main carpeted staircase to the Mezzanine and First Floor. The staircase has steps which are 10.5cm deep and there are 18 steps in total.

On the ground floor, to the right of the main staircase, a hallway leads to Room 1 to the left.

Standard Double – Room size is approx. 18 sq. metres with an en-suite shower. The step into the shower is 10cms high. The shower has a sliding glass door and heated towel rail and vinyl flooring.

Further along the hallway turning to your right, is the large main dining room which has a seating area of four tables and a guest lounge space.

To the right of the first floor landing, there are a further two steps down to the Mezzanine Floor (10.5cm deep) which leads directly to Room 2 (Standard Twin).

Standard Twin – Room size is approx. 19 sq. metres with an en-suite shower. The step into the shower is 10.2cm high and has round sliding shower doors as well as a heated towel rail and vinyl flooring.

Also on the first floor landing with the staircase to your left is a corridor to Rooms 4 and 3.

Superior Twin on your right – Room size is approx. 24 sq. metres with additional en-suite bath and shower facility. The bath height is 50.1cm and has a swing glass door for the shower facility as well as a heated towel rail and vinyl flooring

Superior King Size on your left – Room size is approx. 24 sq. metres with additional en-suite large shower room. The step into the shower is 20.3cm high and has a sliding shower door as well as a heated towel rail, twin basins and vinyl flooring.
