Situated in the heart of Peebles, we are a family run hotel totally geared up to providing you with a wonderful break.
All of our bedrooms feature new super-comfortable Hypnos beds and are fitted with a flat screen television, wireless Internet, direct-dial telephone, hairdryer and a welcoming tea and coffee tray. Cots, highchairs, irons and boards are available by prior arrangement and there is car parking, on site, free to residents.
Secure, high-speed WiFi is available throughout the hotel free of charge to all residents. Ask at check-in for details.
Our garages ensure secure, overnight parking of mountain bikes, road bikes, and motorbikes and the hotels pressure washer is available if you want to rinse off your bike after a day outdoors.

Dog Friendly
We have put together the pawfect package so you can bring your pup along to the Tontine Hotel for a nice little holiday that’s bound to get those tails wagging! Our Riverside lodge bedrooms, many of which have recently been refurbished, are all dog friendly. We will provide a cosy dog blanket, bowl for fresh water, and a doggy treat too so you can trust that, this holiday, you'll have one pampered pooch.
Your pup isn't confined to the room at The Tontine Hotel either. You and your dog are welcome to come and relax, eat, and drink in our hotel bar, bistro or garden. The surrounding countryside has the most scenic walks and we are happy to provide you with maps and more information so you and your furry friend can get out explore the beautiful Tweed Valley, before retiring back to the Tontine Hotel for a well-earned local beer, wine, and bowl of water for your thirsty pooch.

Read All ReviewsExcellent Hotel, located in the Town Centre. They provide separate disabled parking for disabled users. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Room was clean bed was so comfortable, bedding was top quality, large bath and deep, lots of hot water, powerful shower, toiletries and towels included. Was a pleasure to stay here and will definitley be back
