In 2010 La Roche gained and has retained a Silver Award, the first such accolade granted in the Guernsey Guest Accommodation category. Our own garden produce is often included in meals and we attempt to be ‘green’, recycling and composting when possible and using our own well water in the garden.
Guests may enjoy the use of the drawing room with grand piano, basement cinema with an extensive selection of films, the gardens and terraces, the conservatory, the outdoor heated spa pool with water jets and adjoining shower facilities. We are able to provide concierge service, including bicycle hire, excursion advice, tourist information and make bookings for restaurants, taxis, concerts or activities.
Arriving by air or sea, La Roche is extremely easy to find and is less than ten minutes drive from the airport or harbour and very close to three bus routes. Lifts on arrival and departure and as often as convenient are offered free of charge.
The Rose Room
’The Rose Room’ with garden and sea view has twin side by side electric Tempur beds which can become king size and en-suite sunken bath with handheld shower together with lavatory and wash basin.
The Samphire Room
’The Samphire Room’ with front garden view has a double bed with 'Tempur' mattress, and en-suite shower, lavatory and wash basin.
The Azure Room
‘The Azure Room’ with garden and sea view is a twin bedded room, which can become a king size bed, with wash basin, 2 seater leather sofa. When the Cream room is occupied, it shares a shower room with wash basin and a lavatory with wash basin on the same landing.
The Cream Room
‘The Cream Room’ with garden and sea view has a double bed (often used for single guests). When the Azure room is occupied, it shares a separate shower room with wash basin and a lavatory with wash basin on same landing.
The Azure and Cream rooms are on the same landing and can be booked together for £180 a night which guarantees your privacy.
Each room has a desk/dressing table, cupboard with shelves, extra drawer space, bedside lighting, flatscreen TV with DVD player, Wi-Fi, local information brochures, trouser press, hairdryer, lockable safe, Wi-Fi, hot drink making facilities, towelling robes and swim towels for pool.
We provide soap,shower and bath gel and conditioning shampoo, slippers, Tempur and/or feather and/or foam pillows, Duvet tog to suit guest, A guest computer is available for use.
