Indie Alehouse offers a different choice for beer drinkers. We make and serve hard to find Ales like a Belgian Sour, a Double IPA, or an English Porter. We make some beers regularly, some once a year, and some are made one time only. We apologize, but when you’re dealing with mad scientists, you’re a slave to our schedule.

We’re not fans of rules, beer style guidelines, or people telling us what we can or can’t do. Our beers and food reflect this attitude and our quest to make something that will leave an impression.

On a scale of 1-10 of how adventurous our beers are, we are a 10-12. Our beers are stronger, hoppier, fruiter, aged longer, made in smaller batches, put in weirder barrels, with crazier ingredients - you name it, if we can go over board on some element in making a beer, we generally do.

From our beer and staff, to our artwork and ambiance, everything at Indie is specially created to give you the best experience you can have. Our food is no exception.

Put simply and sincerely, if you love beer, you should be here. If you like beer, you have to try us out. And if you hate beer, our menu is spectacular. We believe that you should have the opportunity to taste, enjoy, and have the choice of better beers. It’s who we are. It’s why we’re here.

In terms of accessibility, you enter Indie Ale House through wide double doors. There is no automatic door opener. The flooring throughout is smooth hardwood, and there are wide unobstructed routes throughout. Most of the tables are standard height with removable chairs – there is seating for groups of 2, 4, and 6. There are also a few booths and higher bar height seating. Everything is on one level, and the servers take your order at the table.

The door width to access the washrooms is 34”. The men and women’s washroom each have an accessible stall 60” by 60” with two grab bars and a 35” entrance. The sink height is on the high side at 35” and no space to wheel underneath, and the toilet height is 15”.
