The Colintraive Hotel is hidden away on Argyll's Secret Coast in the quiet village of Colintraive. Located within a Designated Area of Outstanding Beauty on the edge of The Loch Lomond National Park, we are less than 2 hours from Glasgow. We are also a great stopping place on the road to Arran, Islay, Jura, Gigha and Kintyre.
The Colintraive Hotel has 4 lovely bedrooms, contemporary new ensuites, super comfy beds and stunning sea views across to the Island of Bute. Sailors are welcome to use our sailors' facilities and our 6 moorings located close to the hotel. We have capacity from 15 - 65 tones.
The cosy Gastro Pub with sea views and wood burning stove, serves amazing local sea food, the best of beef from the Island of Bute and Winston Churchill's game. Our elegant Restaurant, also with sea views is perfect for special occasions and small weddings.
Pets are very welcome, and our resident black Lab Caeser is available for buddy walkies too. Colintraive is a delightful coastal village where eagles, red squirrels, seals, deer and basking sharks are regular sights. Its great for country and coastal walks along the Cowal Way. Many Munros are within a short drive. There are thrilling cycle routes, kayaking with seals and the best sailing routes through the Kyles of Bute.
ROOMS
The Hotel has four beautiful en-suite bedrooms with either country or spectacular sea views across the Kyles. Each room has been fitted with super comfy beds & luxury duvets ensuring you will have the best nights sleep possible. All our rooms are located on the 1st floor & have flat screen TVs. We are of course pet friendly but would kindly ask you to bring your own towels and bed for your 4 legged friend. Wifi is available in the bar. All prices are inclusive of breakfast and VAT.

THE ATTENBOROUGH ROOM
The Attenburgh Room (favoured by the late Sir Richard Attenburgh) has stunning sea views from 4 windows across to the Island of Bute. This Superior double room is indeed very comfortable & has the wow factor. Period furnishings, King size bed (can also be made into a twin), open fire place, large walk in shower & artwork by Alistair Houston.
THE ARDENTRAIVE ROOM
A lovely family sized room with country views to Ardentraive farm. Comfortable double bed plus two single beds. In the room you will find an open fire place, period furniture & local art work. This room can accommodate up to 4 people.
THE CALA ROOM
A cosy double room with country view. Ensuite has bath and shower facilities.
THE BUTE ROOM
Located at the front of the Hotel with stunning sea views, our Bute room is available with either a King size bed or twin beds. This Room has a contemporary bathroom with a large walk in shower. Featuring artwork by Lynne Douglas.
AMENITIES
Breakfast is provided daily in an elegant restaurant that serves traditional Scottish cuisine with an emphasis on seafood and local game. There's a cosy gastropub and lounge with an open fireplace and leather couches, plus outdoor seating and a beer garden. Other amenities include boat mooring and parking.
