Lanteglos is undoubtedly special - a little piece of heaven in beautiful North Cornwall. From the moment that you arrive down our leafy drive, you’ll feel the peace and tranquillity, an oasis in this green and secluded valley. The setting is romantic and idyllic, with 15 acres of enchanting gardens and woodlands: if you take a moment to just sit and listen, all you will hear is the soothing babble of the brook and the birds singing. Built by Pugin in 1847, this lovely country house hotel in Cornwall has a wealth of period character and traditional style. We offer the highest level of comfort and service that you would expect in such beautiful surroundings, complimented by modern facilities and a relaxed, informal atmosphere.
Rooms
The rooms in the main house are a perfect blend of traditional and modern, and we have double, family, single and twin bedrooms available. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities (most with a Spa bath and/or power shower), Hypnos beds, flatscreen TV with Freeview and additional Sky channels (including Sky Sports 1, 2 & 3) and radio, hospitality tray, luxury toiletries, hairdrier, telephone with voicemail, Free Wi - Fi. In some of our rooms, there is also space for a cot. As Lanteglos was built over 150 years ago as a parsonage, some of the rooms have more distinctive features, offer more spacious accommodation and better views. These rooms are available at our Premier Tariff rates.
Cottage Suites
Converted from the original stables to the rear of the main house, our three Cottage Suites are perfect for families or those who prefer more space and privacy. Each cottage contains two bedrooms and en-suite facilities, TV with additional Sky channels (including Sky Sports 1, 2 & 3), radio, hospitality tray, luxury toiletries, hairdrier, telephone, Free Wi - Fi. Some rooms are large enough for additional beds or cots for children; please ask when speaking to our reservations team.
Cottage 1 is on the ground floor, has a separate sitting room, a Spa bath and power shower.
Cottage 2 is on the first floor, and also has a separate sitting room.
Cottage 3 is on the ground floor, and has a Spa bath and its own secluded private garden.
The Cottage Suites are available at Premier Room rates.

Hotel Facilities
There’s so much to do at Lanteglos, from simply relaxing in the beautiful gardens, to swimming in our refreshing outdoor pool {open from 25th May] and playing tennis and squash, or perhaps a game of snooker after dinner. If golf is your passion, there is a wide selection courses nearby (many available at discounted rates), so you need never play the same hole twice!
We have three restaurants at Lanteglos, offering you some delightful dining choices: The Garden Restaurant; relaxed and informal - overlooking the gardens, the Brasserie; a family friendly alternative, or the Cellar Bistro. The Hotel Bar has a good selections of beers and spirits, with a wide choice of malt whiskies and an extensive wine list to suit every taste.
The hotel has flexible and stylish accommodation, with ten rooms in the main house and three Cottage Suites (each with two bedrooms) that have been tastefully converted from the original stables.
Lanteglos Holiday Villas - sleep 3 or 4 + cot
These compact family villas are delightfully set in the grounds on the hillside near to all the hotel facilities and are perfect for a budget holiday. They are terraced in groups of three or four and open out onto grassed areas - some are positioned higher on the hill with lovely views and open play areas, while others are conveniently situated lower down near the central car park. It's a paradise for children with acres of safe gardens, play ares, swings and a woodland play area. All the hotel facilities are available to you including swimming & paddling pool, tennis & squash courts, snooker & pool, games room, bar and restaurant.
All units have two bedrooms - one double and one with either a single bed or bunk beds for children and these are made up for your arrival. There is a fitted kitchen with microwave, an open plan lounge/diner and a full bathroom with electric shower and heated towel rail. The villas have double glazed windows and electric heaters in all rooms and the electric is included in the tariff. FREE Wi - Fi is available [limited to sending & receiving emails and browsing the internet] and Sky Sports channels 1, 2 & 3 at no extra charge.
Lanteglos Self Catering Lodges
Spacious detached Scandinavian-style lodges set on the hillside a short distance from the main facilities. All have three bedrooms – one double and two twin rooms. Beds are made up for your arrival all you need to bring are towels and tea towels.
It's a paradise for children with acres of safe gardens, play areas, swings and a woodland play area. All the hotel facilities are available to you including swimming & paddling pool, tennis & squash courts, snooker & pool, games room, bar and restaurant. Free WiFi is also available.
All lodges have their own private patio with table and chairs for al fresco dining.
