The Poldark Inn is situated at the highest point of the Treligga Downs in Cornwall and less than 2 miles from the coast. Set in a tranquil, picturesque and secluded location, the inn offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking.
The Poldark’s accommodation consists of both guest bedrooms and self-catering apartments, all of which have either coastal or scenic countryside views and are equipped with a TV. All but one room features a modern en-suite bathroom with shower and the apartments include a kitchen and lounge area.
The on-site bar features a good selection of beers and real ales and provides traditional English pub food. Guests can relax by watching live sports at the bar or by playing a game of pool on the 2 pool tables available.
The inn is situated on the spectacular North Cornwall coastal path, offering scenic walks to the quiet Tregardock Beach, which is less than a mile away. Trebarwith Strand is just over 2 miles from the inn and offers a large sandy beach and many cliffs and natural caves.

SELF CATERING APARTMENTS
The self-catering apartments are situated adjacent to the Poldark Inn with private parking. They have been built with thick, soundproofed dividing walls and have their own access beyond the Inn. Visitors will have the facilities of the inn close at hand when desired but can be assured of privacy and quiet when required.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
It is central to many of the main features that make North Cornwall such a beautiful and popular area. Beaches like, Polzeath, Widemouth Bay and Daymer Bay are all within 10 miles and Trebarwith Strand only 2 miles away. There are also some of the best kept secrets very close which are not publicised and not quite so amenable but for the more adventurous they are well worth the visit.
COASTAL WALKING
Just along the coast from Tintagel is the small harbour village of Boscastle. There are many picturesque walks out of Boscastle along the cliffs and up through the valley. There is easy access from the Poldark to the National Trust Coastal Path which enables you to walk To Trebarwith Strand, Tintagel and to Boscastle and in the other direction are the small villages of Port Gaverne and Port Isaac, both laden with history about Smuggling.
