revigue farm B & B is a beautiful 16th century National Trust farmhouse located high on the rugged North Cornish cliffs nestled between the idyllic sandy beach of Crackington Haven and the timeless fishing village of Boscastle, 9 miles south of seaside town of Bude. Mentioned in the Doomsday book, Trevigue bed and breakfast is built around an ancient cobbled courtyard.
The stunning bed and breakfast has four boutique en-suite rooms. Crackling log burning fires and Cornish flagstone slate floors make Trevigue farmhouse bed & breakfast the prefect destination to unwind and relax. In our light and airy farmhouse dining room we believe that Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and you can expect a traditional English breakfast with a healthy Cornish twist.
The beautifully remote self-catering holiday cottage sleeps up to 6 adults and 2 children and has been lovingly designed to provide the most relaxing and care-free holiday you could wish for. The luxurious B&B and the coastal holiday cottage are an easy five minutes stroll to the dramatic South West Way coastal path which also leads down to staggeringly magnificent ‘Strangles Beach’, so isolated by its twisting, winding footpath, once you have hiked down to it, it feels like your own private beach. Numerous surfing beaches are close by such as Crackington Haven, Widemouth Bay, Summerleaze & Crooklets at Bude (not forgetting the Victorian sea pool), Trebarwith and Polzeath to name a few.
Once you have arrived at the Trevigue guest house or self catered holiday accommodation it is an ideal base for travelling slightly further afield to visit the incredible landscape of the Eden project, The mysterious lost Gardens of Heligan, the bleak beauty of Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moor, the fine sand dunes at Rock and the secret locations of the recently filmed BBC adaptation of Poldark. Our family have farmed the land (200 acres) on the Cornish cliffs for over 40 years and have a pedigree suckler herd of North Devon cattle (Ruby Reds). Our charming cliff top family farm is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (A.N.O.B) within a stones throw of Padstow, Port Isaac (recently featured in the TV Series Doc Martin) and King Arthurs castle at Tintagel by the sea.
Guests have described our rugged cliff top location as something out of a Daphne du Maurier novel, Poldark or the bewitching poems and books of Thomas Hardy. A place to recharge your batteries, get away from real life and relax for a while. We are a family that have lived here all our lives and are pashionate about providing amazing holidays and scrumptuous Cornish food.
