The Salutation Hotel is situated in the heart of the historic City of Perth. Reported to be the Oldest established hotel in Scotland, the Salutation has been welcoming guests through its doors since 1699. One of the most famous patrons to sample our hospitality was Bonnie Prince Charlie who stayed here in 1745, at the height of his struggle to regain the throne for the Stuart Kings. Today, the welcome is as warm as it ever was offering traditional hospitality with all modern comforts.
This deceptively large hotel boasts 84 bedrooms. Due to the age and nature of this grand old building all bedrooms are individual in size and shape but all have as standard – en-suite bathrooms, television, hairdryer, direct dial telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. There are a large selection of room types available, including Classic and Superior Rooms, Family Rooms and Four Poster Rooms. Some queiter rooms have internal views and some offer views facing the town.
