Our accommodation is luxurious, the dining sumptuous and the atmosphere warm and relaxing. All 13 bedrooms have en-suite facilities and are finished in tasteful, traditional styles with every modern comfort. Some rooms having spectacular views over Bangor Bay and the Irish Sea beyond.

All our 13 rooms are en-suite, with flat screen TV’s and tastefully decorated in traditional styles, with crisp white linen on Orthopaedic /memory foam mattresses for your comfort.  All our guests enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the house and a cold drink and cookie on arrival.

All rooms have complimentary bottled filtered water, as well as a hot beverage tray with a selection of teas, coffee and chocolate to suit all tastes.  For your convenience, we supply cotton wool/buds, hairdryer and toiletries for you to pamper yourself and dressing gowns and slippers for you to relax in.

We offer the ultimate comfort food menu, including our own Irish porridge recipe.  All our ingredients are sourced and inspired locally from County Down traditional fayre.  Our aim is to create a memorable and unique experience through delivering quality food in our relaxed informal dining room.

Shelleven Penthouse Apartment is the newest addition to the Shelleven accommodation portfolio and is centrally located in the heart of Bangor, overlooking the Marina.

A beautifully decorated, self-catering Penthouse Apartment offering 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and sleeping 4/5 people. The Penthouse is a relaxing, warm and comfortable self-catering apartment, with a real home from home feel, with magnificent sea views.

It has all the comforts and trapping of a contemporary home, including modern kitchen appliances and master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. It is located on the top floor with convenient access via an internal elevator and offers free private parking on site.

The Penthouse offers spacious, comfortable living accommodation for those wanting to self-cater. 

The living room and dining rooms are positioned to the front of the Apartment which offers relaxing panoramic views over Bangor Marina and Irish Sea and beyond.  For convenience and when more than 4 people reside, a luxury sofa bed is available with easy assembly in the living area.

The kitchen is fully fitted with all modern appliances, from integrated fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine and equipped with all you need when catering for a small family.  Your stay also includes our complimentary welcome grocery pack to get you started.

Quietly positioned at the back of the Penthouse are the 2 bedrooms, which are spacious and tastefully decorated and offer flexibility as twin beds or super king.  The family bathroom has a tub with shower over and comes with luxurious towels and toiletries for your convenience.

The dual aspect dining room seats 6 people comfortably and is situated next to the Kitchen for your convenience.

The apartment is fitted with quality furnishings for your relaxation and up to date technology including, 43” freeview TV, IPod docking station, DVD player and music system and free Wi-Fi throughout the property, for all our guests to enjoy.
