Original, relaxed and sitting comfortably within its environment…a touch of luxury combined with a homely charm. We opened in May 2011 after an extensive refurbishment and with a clear idea of what we wanted to provide - a hotel with a heart. We work hard to get that balance right - the perfect blend of ‘laid back relaxation’ combined with ‘professional and attentive’.

Individually decorated in a modern, stylish and luxurious manner, accented by specially chosen furniture of the highest standard – our super king size beds are draped in the finest Egyptian cotton to ensure that your sleep is as peaceful and luxurious as your surroundings.

The majority of our have generously sized bathrooms, consisting of a large bath with over hanging shower & excellent lighting to fulfil all of your pampering needs. Each lovely room is adorned with a local photographer’s work, which is inspired by the beautiful surroundings in which the hotel is situated.

Recently we have acquired an additional room - Banner Lodge. We class this as one of our suites - it’s pretty special! It has a gorgeous mezzanine bedroom level, a large living area and even had its own kitchen. Banner lodge is situated in the grounds of the hotel and is wonderfully cosy with underfloor heating. We can also accommodate dogs in the Banner Lodge, so this is a fantastic new addition for the hotel.

Tea and coffee making facilities, in-room safe, homemade shortbread, tvs and cosy chairs, and of course, complimentary wifi - all of these can be found in all of our rooms.

Our deluxe Double/Twin room is our standard room which is individually decorated in a modern, stylish and luxurious manner which is accented by specially chosen furniture of the highest standard.
