Set in an 18th-century coaching inn on the site of an ancient Roman bath, this low-key pub with rooms is 12 minutes' walk from York train station.
The simple rooms feature en suite bathrooms, TVs and tea and coffeemaking equipment.
There's a Roman-themed pub with a beer garden offering traditional bar fare, real ales and a Sunday roast, plus frequent live music. A permanent exhibit features the ruins of a Roman bath from AD 71. Parking is free.

Read All ReviewsParking was free but not disabled friendly. The rooms in the hotel were very less and no accessible rooms. No ground floor rooms also for disabled. So my stay has became very much difficult at this hotel without disability. However managed anyway to get in to the hotel. The room was good but with only basic facilities and no walk in shower not also large bathroom. Would not recommend to anyone with disability problem.
