No matter what your skill sets or desires are, Banff has a bit of something for everyone all year round.

Banff’s Activities – Any Season

There are many world class spas and naturally occurring hot springs that can be enjoyed anytime of the year, such as Mountain Spa and the Banff Upper Hot Springs, which themselves are a premier attraction featuring natural thermal baths housed in a modern facility.

The King Edward hotel is located on Banff Avenue which is the town’s main street. Most attractions are located near to the hotel, including international clothing stores, souvenir shops, informative museums and fantastic art galleries.

A vast array of quality restaurants, coffee shops, pubs and lounges are also downtown. Visitors can spend hours wandering the streets, nipping into shops and grabbing a bite to eat. The Maple Leaf Grill and Lounge is within the property and just up the street is Banff’s only Brewpub, the hugely popular Banff Ave Brewing Co. Ask our friendly front desk staff for many more options all located close to the hotel.

One of the most unique ways to see Banff and the surrounding area is to take a Helicopter Tour. Whether you’re looking to take an alpine hike, a tour of the Rockies or the more adventurous Heli-Skiing then Banff has many options available to you.

The Banff Gondola takes you all of the way to the top of Sulphur Mountain to experience a stunning bird’s eye view of six mountain ranges. Described as a ‘must-do’ on your trip to the Canadian Rockies and is certain to take your breath away no matter what the season.
