From Bed & Breakfast in the 1930’s to The best boutique hotel in Leicester The Belmont Hotel has been under the same ownership for the last 85 years. Now we are part of our city bright and brilliant future with fabulous food and drink menus, individually designed bedrooms, bespoke business centre and lovely weddings.

A warm welcome and 74 lovely, ultra-comfortable bedrooms – all individually designed and furnished, which means they’ve got real character. They’re all en-suite with excellent facilities including flat screen TVs too, of course – and we’ve recently refurbished many of them and added extra trimmings as well! Attentive, friendly staff who know the city well and are happy to help you enjoy it to the max. A lovely ambience, combining Victorian charm and elegance with hi-tech convenience like free Wi-Fi – and a great setting in a leafy enclave at the historic heart of the city.

Main suite

Our stylish main suite includes a large bedroom with contemporary décor, offering lovely views overlooking the leafy New Walk. There is a separate sitting room and bathroom so you can really feel at home.

Mini-suite

Our mini-suite has all the features of the main suite, but in one very large room with separate bathroom. It contains a sleigh bed, an original fireplace, a huge bay window overlooking New Walk Avenue and a large bathroom with power shower and Villeroy & Boch fittings.
