It may be one of the Haven Ports, but there's a lot more to Harwich than boats and water, as a stay at Premier Inn Hotel Harwich will tell you. We're great as a stopover if you're catching the ferry, but there's also plenty to do here even if you're not sailing away. Spend your morning wandering the picturesque streets of Harwich, stumbling across some delightful buildings that date back centuries. Or catch a train to Colchester, Britain's oldest town, to see the castle or visit the world-famous zoo. The Edwardian seaside town Felixstowe is nearby too. Then come back to the hotel for some tasty food at our Brewers Fayre restaurant and a lovely, comfy bed.

We stayed for one night in the Premier Inn and the room was warm and comfortable. We were in a room with a wet room. The room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was fully accessible and did not presented much challenges. One problem with the room was the bed. It was lovely and comfortable but it was not large enough. Their adverts claim all rooms have king sized beds and this one was as standard double bed so was not large enough for a disabled person. We had a full English breakfast which was excellent. The staff was very polite and pleasant all the time during our stay.
