Nestled on the banks of the Miramichi River in the City of Miramichi’s Historic Water Street Business District, we are only a short drive from Moncton, Saint John and Fredericton and easily accessed from Edmundston via route 108, Campbellton via route 8 and Caraquet via Route 11.

The Rodd Miramichi is not the typical city centre hotel. Our riverside location provides both views of and step-outside access to the river and recreational trails. With our riverside guestrooms, instead of views of other buildings you, our guest, can see blue sky and blue water. And we help you find ways to play on land and sea.

Our just-completed 15-month renovation crafted a modern, contemporary urban resort in the heart of a small city. The hotel features 79 newly renovated guestrooms and suites, many with patio walkouts and river views of the world-famous Miramichi River. Each guestroom features top-of-the-line furniture, quick on-line connections as well as all the other amenities expected by the modern traveller. For indulgence – or personal reward – our suites have a separate bedroom and baths with experiential showers. Other guest amenities include an indoor pool, whirlpool and complete fitness centre.

Fishing enthusiasts continue to enjoy the Miramichi River for its world famous salmon as well as striped bass. Custom made fishing packages are available.

KING SUITE

Four one-bedroom king suites with king bed.
Separate living space with double pull-out sofa, desk & chair. 47-inch flat screen television in bedroom and living room. Along with all the standard amenities, this room is also equipped with a bar sink and microwave.

ACTIVITIES

The Rodd Miramichi River Hotel is in the centre of a four-season sporting paradise. In summer there is world-class fishing for Atlantic Salmon (in the interests of conservation it’s catch-and-release) and Largemouth Bass. In winter, we are New Brunswick’s premier hotel for snowmobiling enthusiasts, who can ride groomed trails right to our door. There are both on-site sled storage and drive-up units. A garage for fuel is steps away from the hotel.

There are numerous historical and natural points of interest, ranging from uniquely local facilities like the Atlantic Salmon Museum, Central Woodsmen’s Museum, Beaverbrook House, W.S Loggie House, Rankin House and Miramichi Salmon Conservation Centre to the Metepenagiag Heritage Park.
