Brackenrigg Holiday Cottages has 4 cottages in 7 acres of private gardens, woodland, a ball-play paddock and meadows located just 2.5 miles Keswick and 10min drive from Grasmere in the very heart of the Lake District National Park in the beautiful Naddle valley.
Wildlife in the grounds includes red squirrels, owls, badgers, and visiting deer. Walking from the door, or very centrally located for access to all areas of the National Park.
Brackenrigg Country House: our 5 bedroom, all ensuite Victorian estate house sleeping 10 plus 2kids on Z-beds. Games room, double aspect lounge with views to Helvellyn and Blencathra, hand made oak kitchen/dining room. Wood burning stoves. Outside large verandah, summmer house, and BBQ area, as well as extensive grounds.
Brackenrigg Barn: beautifully converted 19thC barn, retaining many original features such as open stone walls, beams, large floor to ceiling windows. Three cottages sleeping up to 2 or up to 4-5.
Bleaberry & Brocklebeck: cosy warm and comfortable cottages for 2 - open plan style, all ground floor. BBQ and outside seating, gardens
The Sett: spacious. comfortable and warm cottage for 4-5 with 2 bedrooms, open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Patio with outside seating, BBQ, gardens and woodland.
