Set on the edge of the Peak District, Bradstones and Weathericks are two beautifully presented, luxury self-catering cottages.
Overlooking the historic market town of Wirksworth, the cottages provide an excellent base for a holiday in the Peaks, famous for its stunning scenery.
Both cottages have been awarded 5 stars and gold awards by the English Tourist Board plus the Walkers Welcome and Cyclists Welcome awards so you can book with confidence, knowing that your walking and cycling needs will be met. For birdwatchers the cottages are ideal with regular visitors including woodpeckers, tits, finches and sometimes Jays.
Former barns, the renovated cottages sit alongside Windmill Farm. The cottages are at the end of a private drive with expansive views across the farmland down to Wirksworth to the southeast and Carsington Water to the southwest. Guests have access to the surrounding fields to join the numerous public footpaths nearby.
The farmland is only used for grazing and hay-making now but some of the old buildings remaining in tact. Recently, wildlife photography hides have been positioned within the fields offering visitors with an eye for photography, the chance to take images of the wildlife that visits the farm.

Our five star holiday cottages, Weathericks and Bradstones, are two and three bedroom dwellings respectively and are adjoining properties that have been converted into two cottages from a single redundant stone-built farm building. There is ample car parking at the front of both cottages; cars can be parked within 3 metres of the entrance doors
