DINING
The Lounge Bar serves a wide selection of drinks and snack foods throughout the day, however, the hotel does not serve dinner.
There are a variety of dining options on St Mary Street and in the nearby surrounds, including Portugese, Italian, Thai, Chinese, Mexican, American, Wagamama, Jamie Olivers etc.
The hotel does have an arrangement with Mia Porto Duo, whereby the meal and drinks can be billed back to the hotel. Mia Porto Due is within the Brewery Quarter on St Mary Street.
Dinner, bed and breakfast rates include a two course evening meal served at Mia Porto Due, a link to their menu is provided below. Please be aware that some dishes will be charged as a supplement.
We have a number of rooms including the Lounge Bar which are great for Private dining, for large events we recommended our most famous; The Captain Scott Room. Our private meeting rooms host wedding celebrations, corporate hospitality, parties, meetings and events from 2 up to 130 guests.

Read All ReviewsI stayed here for one night recently. On arrival, I was faced with a lift followed by a flight of stairs and another lift before reaching reception and then another lift to reach my room. So, entrance is quiet difficult for a wheelchair user to manage on it’s own. Mine was accessible room with low light switches and sockets, adapted bathroom, grab bars on door and toilet. Though there was less space in bathroom, i was able to manage it. Also room was a long way along a thickly carpeted corridor with two sets of heavy double doors between it and the lift this would be hard work for self propelled wheelchair user. Staff was attentive and helpful. Overall not a great place for disabled as there are lots of levels and steps, which the hotel has made accessible but I imagine with some difficulty.
