Enjoy a warm, friendly welcome, delicious food and wine in this most beautiful old building, steeped in history, which dates back to the 1600's. Our newly converted first floor offers sumptuous hotel accommodation. The five double bedrooms (one twin), complete with en suite facilities, four have sea views and are individually furnished with all the comforts of a luxury hotel. We also have a new ground floor independent twin room with full disabled facilities and is dog friendly.

This tranquil retreat offers magnificent views of the North Sea out to the Bellrock Lighthouse on the horizon and the hustle bustle or the harbour and marina. A favourite pastime of many of our guests to try and catch sight of the dolphins and the seals or watch the fishing boats setting out to sea early in the morning or returning at the end of the day with their catch.

Rooms

There is one thing for sure, when you stay at The Old brewhouse, you will receive a warm and friendly welcome. This stunning building is steeped in history and dates back to the 1600’s. It has been newly converted with the first floor offering superb hotel accommodation. There are five double bedrooms and one twin room, all complete with en suite facilities. Which adds to your comfort. Four of our rooms have stunning sea views and have been furnished with all the comforts you would receive in a luxury hotel. Our newest addition is the Captain’s Cabin, this twin room is spacious and is an independent, self-contained ground floor building with easy access, featuring disabled facilities, including a wet room, and it is also dog friendly. This beautiful and tranquil getaway offers our guests the most stunning view of the North Sea. The Old Brewhouse looks out to the Famous Bellrock Lighthouse. Many of our guests have enjoyed sitting and watching to see if they can catch sight of the Dolphins and Seals that frequent the area. Those who rise with the sparrows, often enjoy watching the fishing boats setting out in the morning. Others prefer to sit and watch as the fishing boats return at the end of the day.

Bellrock Room

With dual aspect over the North Sea to Bell Rock Lighthouse and over the working harbour, Bellrock, is a beautifully relaxing, cosy room in shades of blue and ivory. The room has a Kingsize bed with crisp white cotton sheets, plump pillows and sumptuous hypoallergenic duvet, free internet access, TV & DVD with ipod docking station, hostess tray and comfy seating to watch the unbelievable views.

Signal Tower

Signal Tower is an exquisite room with soft furnishings in olive and heather tones, and has views over the harbour and marina to the Signal Tower with its museum of the Bell Rock Lighthouse and Auld Arbroath. The room has a Kingsize bed with crisp white cotton sheets, plump pillows and sumptuous hypoallergenic duvet, free internet access, TV & DVD with ipod docking station, hostess tray and comfy seating to watch the comings and goings of the bustling harbour.

Old Harbour

Old Harbour is a delightful room with soft furnishings in shades of raspberry, grey and white. With a birds eye view over the Old Harbour and safe wall to North Sea, the room has a Kingsize bed with crisp white cotton sheets, plump pillows and sumptuous hypoallergenic duvet, free internet access, TV & DVD with ipod docking station, hostess tray and comfy seating to watch the yachts and fishing boats entering or leaving the harbour.

Captain's Cabin

Our newest addition, Captain's Cabin is a very spacious, bright room decorated in relaxing neutrals and nautical colours which reflects our harbour location and provides full disabled facilities.

It offers extremely comfortable accommodation, with twin beds, anti allergenic duvets and pillows, crisp cotton linen, soft fluffy towels, free Wi-Fi, TV, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities.

Captain's Cabin is an independent self contained ground floor building with easy access and is adjacent to the Old Brewhouse.

Seagate

Seagate is a very spacious, bright room decorated in relaxing neutrals and nautical colours which reflects our harbour location. The room has a Kingsize bed with crisp white cotton sheets, plump pillows and sumptuous hypoallergenic duvet, free internet access, TV & DVD with ipod docking station, hostess tray and comfy seating.

With dual aspect over The North Sea to The Bellrock Lighthouse, Dangerpoint is an extremely spacious room with a lounge area and 42" HD TV. It is a beautiful cosy room in shades of blue, teal and cream. It is the perfect spot to watch the comings and goings of fishing boats and yachts entering the harbour.
