There is an alternative easier walking route, a bit longer, if you're not so good with steps.
The breakfast room upstairs from your bed and breakfast room includes an elevated ceiling with chandelier and glass doors opening onto a balcony with similar perspectives out west and towards Lake Windermere. Select from a full cooked breakfast or something lighter, or perhaps choose vegetarian; in nice weather it might be possible to have breakfast on the balcony.

General
Nagoya is in an elevated position therefore there is a short steep incline to the house.
Arriving at the house the car park is on a slight slope, and there is one small step to the entrance.
One small step into porch and one step into hall. This is at a mezzanine level, there are seven step up to the dining room, or six steps down to the ground floor bedrooms.
Rydal Suite
Standard width door into very large room, the bathroom has a standard width door and has a spa bath with shower over the bath. Patio doors lead to the sun terrace, there is one step down to the terrace. Bedroom size 24ft X15ft.8 Bathroom 7ft.5 X6ft.6
Patio Room
This is a double room with standard with door into bedroom, 2ft wide door into shower room, and one step down to a small inside patio.
There are Patio doors onto sun terrace. Bedroom size 14ft.2X 11ft Shower room 8ft.2 X 2ft. 8
Aqua room
Standard sized door into the bedroom, also standard sized door into bathroom, large Jacuzzi bath with shower over the bath. Standard sized door leads out to the sun terrace with one step down.
There is a short cut down the garden to the lake and shops and restaurants, but this has 49 steps from the terrace to the street level.
