We are a traditional inn with a friendly bar, an elegant dining room and nine attractive rooms in a converted barn at the rear of the property.
Drinks and food are served in both the bar and the dining room. We are very conscious that we make drinkers and diners feel equally welcome, making a great effort to introduce those drinking alone into the general conversation, no one is a stranger here for long.
Having two distinctly separate areas to dine gives us the opportunity to satisfy different dining occasions. The bar suits a quick informal meal for two or perhaps a large get together of old friends all of which may not wish to eat and would like to draw from the bar atmosphere. The dining room is ideal for couples who wish for greater intimacy or a special gathering with family and friends.

Whether you choose one of our peaceful premier rooms in the converted barn, with charming exposed beams and sumptuous king size, locally made sleigh bed or a smaller economy twin room, all of our rooms benefit from modern en-suite showers or bathrooms.
We have nine rooms, seven of which are in a converted barn at the rear of the property, away from the bar / dining room and the road so they are very peaceful. All of our rooms are tastefully decorated and have en-suite bath/shower rooms. These range from our comfortable premier rooms with charming exposed beams and king size, locally handmade sleigh beds, to economy twins which are slightly smaller and closer to the main building offering great value or money for those on a budget or staying for work reasons.
