Our Melksham hotel is ideally located just off the A350 and only a short drive from the historic market town centre. There’s plenty to do here for outdoorsy types with beautiful walking, cycling and boating along the canals and lanes of the Wiltshire countryside.

A great getaway all year round there’s Melksham Music festival and Party in the Park in summer and the popular Christmas fayre and Lights Switch On in December. You’re also less than 15 miles away, by car, from Bath’s stunning Georgian architecture.

This new hotel features rooms each with a comfy king size bed complete with four plump pillows and a cosy duvet. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of food and drink choices within a short car journey from the hotel.

How to get to your hotel

From the M4, take junction 17 and follow signs for A350/A429 Chippenham/Cirencester. Follow A350 until reaching the roundabout and take the 2nd exit, continuing on A350 and continue to follow signs and roundabouts for A350 for 8 miles. When signs for Police Divisional HQ and the Milk Churn public house appears on the right before the roundabout, take the 3rd exit and the Hotel and car park is on the right.

The most disappointment during my stay was the disabled parking was taken by vans that had no disabled badges which was most inconvenient for those that struggle to walk and with wheelchair like me. The disabled room was very clean and big no doubt in that as well as the bathroom had all the facilities. Breakfast in the morning was too good and with lots of choices. Staff were very helpful throughout the stay. Good hotel to stay except parking problem.
