Dolffanog Fach Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful, dog and pet friendly, 17th century farmhouse set in the most stunning of locations - the foot of Cadair Idris, at the edge of Lake Talyllyn within the breathtaking Snowdonia National Park.
We have 4 beautiful double bedrooms, with prices ranging from £90 - £110 per room per night, depending on the room and the time of year.
Our main aim is to offer our guests a home from home. A warm friendly welcome, lovely, clean rooms and great homemade food is what you can expect from us along with a "nothing is too much trouble" attitude.
Accessibility
External
- Dolffanog Fach fronts onto the B B44409 with a drive beside the main house and parking for up to 8 cars at the rear of the house.
- A slight rise of some 20 metres leads from the parking area up to the front entrance, with two downward steps of 25cm leading to the front door width 115cm.
Internal - General
- All doors are fitted with lever style handles.
- Downstairs floors are slate with rugs.
Bedrooms
- The entrance hall leads to a flight of 12 stairs 20cm deep and 80cm wide. There is one hand rail. Two guest rooms are accessed here.
- A further two steps down lead to a corridor, with corner-turns, to the two other guest rooms. There are no ground floor bedrooms.
- All four bedrooms have carpets, plentiful lighting and power points. Three have en-suite bathrooms and one has a private bathroom across a corridor, immediately opposite the bedroom with no steps and two paces from it.
- Feather duvets and pillows are provided in all rooms. Non-feather pillows and duvets are available on request
- All bedrooms have colour televisions with remote controls and sky boxes offering sub-titles and teletext.
- Tea trays and water are provided
Dining room
- The dining room is situated off the main hall, down three steps and access is via the doorway, 80cm wide. Access from the first floor rooms is provided by 13 wooden stairs . There is one hand rail and one turn.
- All dietary requirements can be catered for, provided we know in advance.
General Assistance
- Assistance can be given with luggage on request
- Taxis can be arranged on request
- Assistance dogs are welcome.
- The owners are available 24-hours and are happy to assist in any way whenever possible
