Darlinghurst's very European bar and restaurant, Casoni, has picked up where its Spanish predecessor left off, offering diners a laid-back place to fill up on good food and share a cocktail or two with friends. There's a succinct, Mediterranean menu of the likes of braised meatballs, lamb shoulder and pumpkin ravioli, but the real drawcard is the weekly pasta special; pasta is handmade daily and its accompaniments are a showcase of seasonality and culinary creativity.
