He opened his first café in Birchgrove 2007 years ago, making it a local institution there. Since then, Charlotte Café has opened branches in several locations including Manly, Penant Hills, Mosman, and Australian Technology Park.
While all the cafés have slightly different menus, Jason continues to deliver on his promise of serving delicious food and brewing one of Sydney’s best coffees using the award-winning superior blend of Campos coffee. Inspired by his Middle Eastern background, the cafés offer modern Australian dishes with a Lebanese twist. This fusion of flavours is truly unique to the Charlotte Cafés!
In fact, Jason’s mother, Helen, lends a helping hand in the kitchen and personalises the dishes with her magic touch. She makes the traditional labneh, hummus, and shawarma in-house. Jason also handpicks all his ingredients and breads to retain the authenticity of all the dishes. This personal attention to detail by Jason and his mother has ensured that the menu is always unique, evolving and most of all delicious! The flavours on the menu and consistency of great Campos coffee and drinks is the trademark across all of the cafes.
Charlotte Cafés opens their doors early in the morning at 6am and serve till 4pm, 7 days a week. There are also plans to expand to exciting new locations in the future.
