Our Ipswich Capel St Mary hotel is a great base for discovering Suffolk. It's positioned at the edge of the medieval town of Capel St Mary, sandwiched between Ipswich and Colchester and close to the beautiful Dedham Vale.
Colchester Zoo and Colchester Castle, only 20 minutes' drive away, are perfect for days out. Ipswich is 30 minutes in the other direction - catch a show at the New Wolsey Theatre or grab a bite to eat on the lively waterfront.
All rooms feature a comfy king size bed with four plump pillows and a cosy duvet. Capel St Mary has a variety of shops and restaurants within a short car journey.

Read All ReviewsBooked an accessible room. The parking was very accessible to the entrance with disabled parking bays. Annoyed that there was a bath with shower over and not a wet room which i dont prefer and uncomfortable for me. Apart from that room was very large and easy to move with wheelchair around. The staff was very helpful throughout whole stay wherever required. The breakfast in the restaurant was quite good and yummy. Also in the night quiet and got great sleep. Recommends to all but walk in shower needed.
