Brantholme B&B is no ordinary Ambleside Guest House, we are family run and take great pride in the warm welcome and friendly atmosphere we create. We’re right at the heart of both The Lake District National Park and The Lake District World Heritage Site.
We have seven rooms at Brantholme and all of our rooms are ensuite and are situated on the ground, first or second floors. We have three room types to choose from:
Standard Double – We have three Standard Double rooms at Brantholme, all of which have Super King sized beds that can also be made up as Twin rooms. Room 2, on the 1st floor, and Room 5, on the 2nd floor, look out over the rooftops of Ambleside village to Wansfell. Room 7, on the 2nd floor of our bed and breakfast, has views across the fells surrounding Ambleside.
Superior Room – We have three, spacious, Superior rooms, all of which have King Size beds that can also be made up as Twin rooms. All of our spacious Superior rooms have views over the Fells surrounding Ambleside.
Superior Suite – Our Superior Suite can accommodate up to four persons. The Superior Suite has a main bedroom, lounge (which can be set up to accommodate 2 people as a twin) and ensuite bathroom. Both the bedroom and the lounge have flatscreen TVs with Freeview and Internet access, tea and coffee making facilities, mini-fridge and views of the Lakeland Fells. The ensuite is accessed through the lounge. Children sharing with two adults are charged at half price per child.
Bathrooms – All our brand new, contemporary, bathrooms are fitted with separate baths, separate walk-in showers, W.C and wash basins.
