The house is situated perfectly for all that Ambleside has to offer being only a 2-3 minute stroll from the shops, restaurants and bars and is the ideal base to explore all the Lake District has to offer with many of our rooms having wonderful views to the Lake District fells and mounatins. Within Ambleside itself a 10 minute stroll takes you to Lake Windermere, a pleasant walk brings you to Stockghyll waterfalls and a gentle few minutes takes you into the park and the River Rothay.

 We are proud of the hospitality and personal service that we offer and our Breakfast Award reflects the locally sourced items for our breakfast menu which provides an excellent start to the day and on your return there is always home made cake available for you to enjoy. A cosy, comfortable guest lounge with a wood burning stove for those cold Winter nights is available at all times.
