Travelodge Ely, Witchford Rd, Ely CB6 3NN, UK

Our Ely hotel sits on the outskirts of this peaceful Cambridgeshire city, at the junction of the A10 and the A412. Its ancient town centre - presided over by a 900-year old cathedral - is a 5 minute drive, or leisurely 20 minute stroll away.

Pay a visit to Oliver Cromwell's House to see how the famous ruler lived in the 17th century. 10 minutes' walk from there is The King's School, and nearby is Ely College. You're only half a mile from Ely City Golf Club.

All rooms feature a comfy king size bed with four plump pillows and a cosy duvet. Guests can enjoy a variety of food and drink choices within easy walking distance from this hotel.

First bad impression on the arrival staff had parked the car in disabled parking bays as they are not disabled. We had booked a disabled access room. The room was quite spacious with wide areas to move the wheelchair easily in the room as well as in the bathroom. Twin beds in the room as we wanted. The bed and pillows were quite comfy and had a great sleep in the night. Breakfast in the morning was too good. Good stay except parking issues.
