Showcasing the traditional aromatic cuisines of Thailand’s and Laos is Holy Basil, a casual and welcoming restaurant located in the contemporary tower two at Sydney's Barangaroo. All the regular favourites of curry puffs and curries fill the menu, with a share plate concept the best way to get a true taste of all that is on offer. Lively and full of energy, the space is decorated with lots of greenery mixed with cultural artefacts and smiling faces of the friendly staff.
A few years ago, we began our journey of retelling a story on our cultural heritages through our cuisines that is uniquely Thai & Laos. We wanted to showcase the food which is a distinctive cuisine dominated with fresh herbs and spices, and a delicate balance between sweet, sour and spicy that we have been accustomed to from our upbringing.
