Welcome to Lattendales in Ambleside, situated at the very heart of the Lake District National Park. Stylish and recently refurbished, our cosy Victorian Lakeland townhouse is the perfect base to explore this beautiful corner of England. Personally run for many years as a bed and breakfast and rewarded by the English Tourism Council with a guest accommodation rating of four stars. Our aim is to continue to provide a relaxed mixture of warm hospitality, excellent breakfasts and comfortable bedrooms, all in this stunning location.
Lattendales has four comfortable en-suite double rooms, over two floors, each individually decorated in contemporary style.
There are also two small single rooms with shared facilities. All rooms have television, Wi-Fi access for your laptop, hospitality tray and hair dryer.
The vegetarian breakfast includes sausages (Linda McCartney) free range eggs, grilled tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms, hash browns and baked beans. For the lighter appetite, why not try our own home made organic muesli with a choice of fresh fruit and yoghurt followed by hot toast, blossom honey and preserves? A plentiful supply of freshly brewed ground coffee is available, together with a selection of breakfast teas and fruit infusions.
