We are a traditional Italian Woodfire pizzeria as well as a small cocktail bar on church lane, just off Bourke street in Surry Hills. Our pizza is made in the traditional Italian way. Lucio and Vincenzo rest our dough between 36 and 72 hours, making the pizza easy to digest with a delectably crispy texture alla romana. Ourmission is simple: We want to bring to you, what we believe is our country’s best. We aim to do so, in a fresh way, choosing superior produce, and ingredients that we find at the markets. In doing so, we aim to recreate the fabulous and exciting Italian dining experience imitating the one you just had when you were last there. All our wine and beer our carefully selected from Italy. Some names might be weird, but trust us, we invented the stuff! All our pasta and desserts are fresh, and made in house, by our chef Alessandro like his Nonna used to teach him. The bar at Maybe Frank is our little secret. We are focused on aperitivo and digestive cocktails. Everything is done with a modern Italian twist and all created by our talented bartender: Andrea Gualdi. Our list is constantly changing according to seasonality and provenance. Always using the freshest ingredients, and peculiar Italian liquor that we can find on the market.
