Welcome to our 5 Star award winning Bar Grill and Rooms.  We are nestled at the foot of Cadair Idris Mountain and 4 miles from the  historic town Dolgellau, South Snowdonia.

Our  Grade 11 listed building offers you the perfect opportunity to relax, indulge and explore the Welsh Mountains, Coast and Heritage. 

We are graded as Gold (exceptional) by Visit Wales and recognised by the Good Pub Guide 2017.  We have been awarded with a prestigious award by the Alistair Sawday's Special Pub with Rooms and voted by The Independent as one of Britain's Top 50 Country Pubs.  The Western Mail recently also awarded us as one of Wales' posh pubs.

We are dog friendly and welcome well behaved dogs in the bar where we serve the full menu (we do not allow dogs in the bedrooms).

We have six gorgeous, individually designed Bedrooms including two suites which can be adapted to sleep up to four as family rooms; and four Double Rooms (Two of these are convertible into Twin rooms). Every room has its own unique design, with a seamless blend of modern and antique furniture and art in each.  There is a minimum two night stay on Friday and Saturdays (April to October), Monday to Sunday (July to September).
